The Midwest Regional Dairy Challenge invites you to join us on Thursday, February 8, 2018 when State Assembly Representative Gary Tauchen will speak on the future of the dairy industry, the 2018 Farm Bill and address questions on other topics from the audience. Gary is a dairy farmer in Northeast Wisconsin. He has served as District 6 WI State Assembly Representative since 2006, and currently serves as Director for AgVest, LLC. He formerly served as Director of M&I Bank–Shawano, and was a founding board member of Cooperative Resources International. He sits on many legislative committees including Agriculture, State Affairs, Small Business Development, and more.

The program will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 PM. At 7:00 PM you will be joined for dinner by 120 students who are participating in the Midwest Regional Dairy Challenge. During our dinner, Alice In Dairyland will provide interactive professional development training. You will also learn about Dairy Challenge and our work with industry, universities and producers to generate students who are more experienced and knowledgeable, and will be better prepared to serve the dairy industry of the future. Representative Tauchen's talk will follow dinner.
