Understanding Your Farm Data: Milk Quality webinar to be presented in Spanish
Madison, WI – Dairy farm worker can improve their understanding of milk quality such as mastitis, milking routine and reporting by attending a webinar hosted by University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Dane County on July 8, 2020.
Maria Jose Fuenzalida, Extension Dane County dairy and livestock educator will lead the webinar and present the session in Spanish.
Dairy farm workers can learn about state programs focused on integrating on-farm and off-farm data to milk quality. Topics will include:
- Reading and interpreting somatic cell count
- Comparing your data with reference guidelines
- Prevention of mastitis to improve somatic cell counts
- Any other topics related to milk quality and data management recommended by you
