As we venture into 2017, DBA is proud to roll out a new membership platform that provides a more dynamic online experience for members.
After years of mailed invoices and waiting on checks or depending on members to contact us with updates and changes, we felt it was time to provide more options. After all, how many businesses in the 21st century don’t easily accept credit cards?
The new association management program was launched Nov. 1 after a long and tedious process of research and implementation. In addition to a redesigned website, the new software allows every member to manage his or her own membership information, handle renewals, enroll online, register for events and even participate in online forums to share information and learn from one another.
If you don’t like to go online and use your credit card, no problem. We can still assist you as we always have. As an association, we realize that we must cater to all of our members and the various ways that they like to do business. All members have the chance to access their online profiles, but this is not required and we can still invoice you and accept checks as we have in the past.
We have already heard great comments from members. Gordon Speirs, DBA’s president emeritus, said it was nice to receive an email notifying him that his annual dues payment was received and applied to his account. That’s a new feature of this platform.
With any transition, there generally comes a few bumps in the road. We appreciate your patience as we continue to make sure this system fits every part of what we do for you. We also ask that you keep an eye out for additional information promoting new features of the system. Don’t hesitate to log in to the membership area from the homepage of widba.com. Contact me for your username and password. Once you log in, you can check the status of your dues and update your contact information.
