I'm pleased to announce the DBA Nominating Committee is seeking DBA members qualified and interested in joining the DBA Board of Directors of the 2018 program year. Members are encouraged to participate in the DBA Board of Directors by nominating either themselves or other individuals to positions that will be available at the end of fiscal year 2017. Further information on positions available, nomination requirements and the process is provided below.
Positions Available
The positions that will be available at the end of fiscal year 2017 are listed below:
Two (2) Producer Directors - 3 year term
Incumbent Tom Crave will seek re-election
Incumbent Paul Fetzer will seek re-election
One (1) Corporate Director - 3 year term
Incumbent Jennifer Keuning will not seek re-election
Nomination Requirements
Nominees must be members in good standing of DBA.
Each nomination must attach a DBA Board Interest Form stating:
Nominee's name
Position to be nominated for
Nominee's willingness to serve in the position for the term of that office (and until his or her successor has been duly elected) and devote 5-10 hours/month to DBA (depending on position) related matters.
Brief statement by the candidate highlighting both the candidate's qualifications for the position and the reasons for running.
Nomination forms must be submitted no later than Friday, December 8, 2017

Nomination Process
All nominations received by DBA will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee and the Committee will submit the list of candidates to the DBA membership for consideration. Profiles of each candidate will be prepared and provided to the membership for review prior to the election. The slate of nominees will be formally submitted to the membership during the DBA board election to be held at the DBA Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Monona Terrace in Madison. At that time, other nominations can be offered from the floor and the election will commence in accordance with the DBA by-laws.
