The Dairy Business Association joined forces with a host of other dairy associations, cooperatives and companies today to urge the Trump administration to quickly reach a deal with Japan for market access for the U.S. dairy community. A U.S.-Japan trade agreement would give “a much-needed boost to the economic health of the U.S. dairy industry,” they said in a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue.
