Election 2020: DBA endorsements

The Dairy Business Association has announced its support for candidates in Wisconsin legislative races in the Nov. 3 election, and we encourage you to consider giving them your support when casting your ballot.

A key to DBA’s mission is to give our members the tools they need to make informed decisions. That’s where our endorsements come in.

We based the decisions on candidates’ positions on agricultural issues and, where available, their past voting records on bills supported by the association. 

It is important that you make your voice heard by voting for candidates who understand, or are committed to learning about, the significant positive impact our dairy farmers, processors and allied businesses have on Wisconsin’s economy and the health of our rural communities.

Voter registration

Check online here to see if you are registered. If you are not registered, here are the options and deadlines for doing so:

• Oct. 14 — Register by mail. Registration form, along with proof of residence, must be postmarked to your municipal clerk. Find your clerk’s contact information here. 
• Oct. 14 —Register online. Voters who are able to match their name, date of birth, Wisconsin driver’s license or state ID number, and address with the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles can register online.
• Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. — Register in person at your clerk’s office.
• Election Day, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. — Register at your polling place. Find your polling place here.
