FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Nov. 4, 2020 Contact: Jamie Mara (920) 209-3990 | jmara@dairyforward.com Dairy Business Association issues statement on state legislative election MADISON, Wis. — The Dairy Business Association, Wisconsin’s leading dairy lobbying group, issued a statement today regarding the outcome of the state’s legislative races in Tuesday’s election.
In the state Legislature, Republicans maintained control with a new 20-13 majority in the Senate, an increase of two seats, and a 61-38 majority in the Assembly, a decrease of two. DBA President Tom Crave made the following comment: “The Dairy Business Association looks forward to continuing to work with our Democratic governor and the Republican-controlled Legislature, including the winners in Tuesday’s election.
