Speak Out! Marklein schedules public listening sessions

Wednesday, March 3, 2021   (0 Comments)

From Chad Zuleger, associate director of government affairs

DBA has identified an opportunity for you to speak out for the dairy community.

State Sen. Howard Marklein, who represents you in the Legislature, will hold listening sessions beginning Friday to gather public input about the state budget and other issues important to you. Sessions will be held throughout the 17th Senate District and will include representatives from corresponding Assembly districts.

It is important that legislators hear from the dairy community in their districts. These sessions provide an excellent opportunity to speak directly with your elected officials.

Visit our website to review the association’s legislative priorities. Tell the lawmakers that you want their support and explain why the priorities are important to you, to your family and to your bottom line.
